We’re honored to announce that Fast Company has recognized InCountry with an honorable mention in the AI and Data category as part of their 2020 World Changing Ideas Awards.
According to Fast Company, this year, they saw the largest number of entries ever received, and our Data-Residency-as-a-Service platform has proven to be an idea that is both creative and meaningful. Since our launch in May 2019, our team has sought out bold ideas that we deemed necessary to help companies ensure global data regulation compliance and are proud to have been recognized a second time by Fast Company this year. In March, we placed the #5 within the top 10 most innovative enterprise companies of 2020.
“Our team is humbled to have received this recognition by Fast Company,” says Peter Yared, CEO and Founder of InCountry. “We’ve grown tremendously over the past year and our team has been really committed to making sure we hit milestone after milestone. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished and am excited to continue furthering our mission of providing an easy and effective way for companies to expand globally while meeting data regulations.”
Our unique technology serves to store and process data in its country of origin, enabling multinational companies to comply with these complex legalities more quickly, easily and effectively. Over the past year, we’ve introduced four new product offerings to simplify turnkey compliance for companies handling regulated profile, finance, health and payment data in over 60 countries.
“There seems no better time to recognize organizations that are using their ingenuity, resources, and, in some cases, their scale to tackle society’s biggest problems,” says Stephanie Mehta, editor-in-chief of Fast Company. “Our journalists, under the leadership of senior editor Morgan Clendaniel, have uncovered some of the smartest and most inspiring projects of the year.”
The World Changing Ideas Awards is one of Fast Company’s major annual awards programs and is focused on social good, seeking to elevate finished products and brave concepts that make the world better. A panel of judges from across sectors choose winners, finalists, and honorable mentions from a pool of 3,000 this year and based their decisions on feasibility and the potential for impact. With a goal of awarding ingenuity and fostering innovation, FastCompany draws attention to ideas with great potential and helps them expand their reach to inspire more people to start working on solving the problems that affect us all.
Keeping citizen data secure is more critical now than ever before and we’re committed to continuously ensure the privacy, security and protection of our customers’ data. This award further validates our work and inspires us to continue to advance our mission in the months ahead.
